CertainTeed® roofing, insulation, siding, gypsum board and trim products are part of the NBC 10 Concept Home, currently under construction in Pennsylvania’s Main Line District. Grand Manor® Shangle® slate-style luxury roofing shingles, DryRight™ Fiber Glass Insulation, WeatherBoards™ FiberCement Siding, ProRoc™ gypsum board, Restoration Millwork™ Exterior Trim and Form-A-Drain® concrete footing form, drainage and radon reduction system have been selected to be part of the $2.5 million traditional-style custom-built concept home. The home will open for public tours in 2007, with tour ticket proceeds benefiting the Ronald McDonald House in Philadelphia.
A partnership between NBC 10 (Philadelphia), TL Concepts and full-service custom design/build company, Welcome Home Builders, the NBC 10 Concept Home is an integrated marketing opportunity for showcasing products and services utilized specifically in luxury residential construction. The project broke ground on October 18, 2006 in Berwyn, Pennsylvania.

DryRight is thermally efficient fiber glass insulation faced with MemBrain, a patented vapor retarder that changes its molecular permeability under varying humidity conditions to allow wall cavities to stay dry and help reduce the risk of damaging mold and mildew.
Grand Manor Shangle is a super heavyweight roofing shingle featuring two full-size, one-piece base shingles beneath an enduring weather tab to create 8" tab exposure and provide virtual five-layer coverage when applied.
WeatherBoards FiberCement Siding, which is made of recycled fly ash, Portland cement, wood fiber and specialty additives, is an environmentally friendly cladding that looks and feels more like real wood than any fiber cement siding on the market.
ProRoc gypsum board creates high-strength, uniformly flat and attractive interior and exterior walls that provide excellent thermal barrier and sound attenuation performance.
Restoration Millwork is a new solid finish trim made from solid cellular polyvinyl chloride that looks and feels like top-grade lumber.
